Felicidades a todos los participantes .... en espera de la fase 2 ....

De hecho, fue una idea de lo que se calculó en estas unidades?

About how long will it be before we can expect new work?

I expect a second round in a few weeks, not later than July. In the meanwhile we are focusing on launching Neurona@Home.

VRS was from your institution as well, now Ideologias, than Neurone, why do you start a totally new project each time, why not make them sub-projects to CES@Home?
Something like WCG, where we can choose our projects, but don't have to create a new account every time a new project pops up.

              Hi Saenger.

As we are still learning how to configure and use BOINC, in our first projects we prefear to create one project each time and learn from each experience. That's true for VRS and Ideologias.

Also, Neurona@Home is somehow special due to the requirements it has. Because of this, is usefull to handle it as a singular project.

Eventually we are planing to build a single project and, from this point, allocate all future projects under the same one, as you name, CES@Home or something similar, but we are still not able to provide a platform such as WCG, with free election of project and so on. We hope all this will be implemented in the future.

Thanks for your support and best regards,

              Javier.

I actually like the separate projects.

The only downside is having to create an account and attach a dozen hosts, but that only takes a few minutes.

The problem with a project like WCG is that different subprojects suit different hosts, and with the current BOINC system I can't exclusively select different subprojects for different hosts. However, as you only seem to only have one 'live' project running at a time, that wouldn't be a problem.

A plus point, for you, as I see it is that new projects attract a lot of interest, so you get a lot of crunching done very quickly (especially by milestone hunters). However, you usually seem to have account creation closed initially anyway, so that probably doesn't help much.

A minus point is that those trying for the BIG milestones don't get a chance to get them as the project ends so quickly. Running subprojects gets around that.

Anyway, just thought I'd put my POV. Just do what suits you and the science best :)
