server_status_detailed never worked too well and was very CPU consuming for the server, so I finally disabled it. Currently only server_status is being updated.

Right now there are 828 WU pending in the folder plus 250 in the queue, this is, let me sum, 1078 WU left.

The new modeller for Ideologias is still not ready, and anyway the project is on hold until I complete Neurona. Can't give a date but for sure Ideologias is to be continued some time in the near future, so be patient.

Here is the information:
Status: previous model was not satisfactory, it is being reworked using a different approach to include additional social factors not used the first time. This task is ongoing. I have an alpha model already running but is still not ready for public use.
When: I'm preparing Meningococo@Home for launch this Summer, and this and Neurona@Home are absorbing most of my time so Ideologias will not be ready until end of Summer, I guess. My aim is to have results of the new model before end this year.
Requirements: Not yet defined. Current alpha model requires about 0.5-1GB RAM and can run in 32bit Win and Linux. Anyway this values are still to be confirmed. This depends on the final population being considered for testing.

Hi all!
The Summer (holidays) was nice but, as usual, too short :-( Now, time of exams and a new academic year.
Ideologias is still in stand-by, with less and less resources I have no option but prioritise. Meningococo is progressing, however. We designed on July a promising algorithm for the contagious pattern and now is under implementation process. I hope we can configure the BOINC project and start the early alpha testing in October.

Not sure where the problem is, the web page seems to work OK, at lest in my computer (I use firefox).
The "news" section of the main page is for news, and there are any so far, the project is stopped until I have time to keep working with the model. That is the reason it has been not updated since then.

MapReduce is suitable for parallel code, in the sense of simultaneous operations over the same dataset, but it is not related to the BOINC model we are following. Our model is not parallel in the sense that our model cannot be run at the same time with the same data in different computers to execute it faster. Instead, the model is run in parallel (that is, at the same time) but with the model running over different data instances in different computers. From this point of view, every model execution is independent of the others.
