Estimated RAM usage is over 8GB but this is only that, an estimation, and may not be very accurate, as you can see for your comments of usages from 5.6 to 6.8 GB.
A lot of my 8 GB W2K8 boxes are waiting for memory. I have no issues on W7 boxes with 8 GB ...
